Global Leadership Communications Lead - Senior ManagerCambridge, MAHybridAbout the roleThe Global Leadership Communications Lead contributes to the strategy and execution of CEO external and internal communications and engagement events, plus additional executive communication efforts.This position plays a key role in internal/employee engagement elements of CEO communications and works in close partnership with another Leadership Communications Lead, who is the point of contact/lead for all external CEO communications.Together, they work collaboratively – regardless of audience or channel – to ensure CEO and leadership communications that increase employee ambassadorship, elevate Takeda’s reputation, and build confidence in our future patient impact.How you will contributeIntegrated Communications (Contribute)Contribute to the development for data- and research-informed strategy for CEO external and internal communications and engagement events, including CEO platform focus areas and related messaging.Contribute to executing on the strategy and continually evaluating and updating approaches based on feedback and insights.Co-lead CEO visibility and engagement reporting, plus landscape analysis. This includes benchmarking and regular research on executive communications trends, best practices, and innovative approaches.Co-lead various narrative and messaging development for CEO and other leaders and communicators to use as needed. This includes narratives for key enterprise projects and transformations, plus monthly key messages and quarterly hot topics FAQs to guide internal communications.Manage external agencies and vendors to ensure excellence in delivery.Employee Engagement (Main Focus)Assist in producing communications for CEO, including monthly messages and related correspondence, podcasts, videos, and messaging among other activities.Coordinate and support CEO-led events including town halls and roundtable events.Work with CEO Office to maximize opportunities during travel to connect with employees.Guide and support messaging development for various CEO internal events.Contribute to planning and execution of the CEO’s annual global leadership conference for the company’s top 250 leaders.External Positioning (Support as Needed)Act as backup support to coordinate and ensure success of any external CEO opportunities (e.g. speaking opportunities, media interviews, LinkedIn posts), working with other Leadership Communications Lead or other communicators across Takeda.Qualifications:A bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing or a related field, or relevant work experience.A minimum of four years of experience in corporate communications,

U.S. Base Salary Range:$133,000.00 - $209,000.00
