office.As Senior PR/Communications Specialist you will create internal and external communications, manage projects, and develop targeted public relations campaigns.Write feature articles about projects, people and technical topicsReport Freese and Nichols news, finding newsworthy stories and presenting them in a strategic wayConduct research using internal and external resourcesInterview technical staff, corporate leaders, and clientsManage digital platforms such as the intranet, website and social media channelsWork with subject matter experts to produce thought leadership articles on technical topicsServe as communications expert to technical staff and corporate leadershipCoordinate media relations, including press releasesManage projects with multiple stakeholders,contributors or vendors if necessaryEdit and proofreads content in accordance with style guideContribute to other areas of marketing and sales when neededUnderstand Freese and Nichols style and graphics standardsUnderstand the Architecture, Engineer and Construction (AEC) industry, including the capabilities of Freese and Nichols and individual employeesTrack statistical data and contributes to reportsIdentify areas and processes for improvement or efficiencyQualifications

9+ years' experience of communications experience (or 11+ years' experience plus one or more of the certifications below)Preferred

Experience in the Architecture, Engineer and Construction (AEC) industryProfessional certification, such as Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM), Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) or Communication Management Professional (CMP)At Freese and Nichols, everyone on our team gets to make a meaningful difference in our communities.
