to join our dynamic team and drive the growth and visibility of our brand in the aerospace and defense sectors.Position Overview:

The Marketing Director will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with X-Bow Systems' business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of the aerospace and defense industry, particularly with the Department of Defense (DoD), and the ability to position X-Bow Systems as a leader in the market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful marketing leadership, with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the aerospace/defense industry.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and market share growth in the aerospace and defense sectors.Oversee all marketing activities, including branding, digital marketing, content creation, public relations, trade shows, and events.Collaborate closely with the sales team to align marketing efforts with business development goals and support the acquisition of key contracts and clients.Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation in the aerospace and defense markets.Manage relationships with external agencies, media, and industry partners to enhance X-Bow Systems' presence and reputation.Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies and achieve business objectives.Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards, particularly in relation to defense contracting and DoD requirements.RequirementsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.7-10 years of experience in marketing roles within the aerospace, defense, or related industries.Strong preference for candidates with direct experience working with the Department of Defense (DoD) and understanding of defense contracting processes.Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies in a technical or highly regulated industry.Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing marketing team.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decision-making.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.Proficiency in digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and marketing automation platforms.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.Preferred Qualifications:10+ years of experience in marketing roles within the aerospace, defense, or related industries.Strong preference for candidates with direct experience working with the Department of Defense (DoD) and understanding of defense contracting processes.
