Our experienced Claims professionals use their specialized expertise to handle even the most complex claims seamlessly. You focus on excellence and creating a culture of continuous improvement, fostering collaboration, customer service, and colleague development.As a Design Professional Claims Handler, you will manage and resolve AXA XL's claims for the Design Professional team, working closely with your manager and fellow Claims Handlers to drive files to resolution.Essential Responsibilities:Managing assigned claims across multiple jurisdictions.Providing comprehensive coverage analysis on all new matters.Partnering with internal and external counsel for effective litigation strategies.Evaluating settlement value and negotiating claims within authority.Producing internal reporting and ensuring reserves are set according to best practices.Analyzing claim trends and establishing or recommending reserves.Identifying and implementing process enhancements for timely claims resolution.Coordinating communications with internal and external stakeholders.Maintaining high-quality relationships with policyholders and agents.Taking ownership of account-specific auditing and record keeping processes.Assisting with educational material and loss prevention measures.Assisting underwriters with policy drafting initiatives.Identifying and reporting on emerging liability and coverage trends.Participating in marketing and promotional activities.Assisting management with statistical and trend reports.You will report to the Head of Design Professional Claims.Required Skills and Abilities:Broad Professional Liability claims experience.Effective communication skills.Collaborative approach with stakeholders.Ethics and professionalism.Proactive results-oriented mindset.Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn.Education: Bachelor's degree required; JD preferred.FIND your futureAXA XL, the P&C and specialty risk division of AXA, is known for solving complex risks.AXA XL is committed to equal employment opportunity and will consider applicants regardless of gender, sexual orientation, age, ethnicity, marital status, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic.At AXA XL, we know that an inclusive culture and a diverse workforce enable business growth and are critical to our success.At AXA XL, Sustainability is integral to our business strategy.The U.S. pay range for this position is USD 92,500-$182,000.
