You will work closely with various internal departments along with artists, managers, and external partners to create, strategize, and increase opportunities in the marketplace for a subset of the Warner Music Nashville roster. You will work with an energetic, fast-paced team of people committed to driving awareness and engagement for our artists and their music.Your role:The Director, Marketing is focused on creating and enhancing marketing opportunities, developing artists’ audiences, and identifying new and innovative ways to connect artists with their fans. You will create and ensure execution of the marketing plans and new music releases for the entirety of your assigned roster.Here you’ll get to:Develop and complete thoughtful, strategic, creative marketing plans to generate awareness and momentum for WMN artists and their music.Design, direct, and implement bespoke campaigns and timelines that will: (1) expose your roster of WMN artists to potential new fans, (2) deepen artist/fan relationships for passive fans, and (3) nurture artists’ core/super fans.Set and manage quarterly marketing budgets for your roster of artists.Manage marketing and new release workflows through the label ecosystem.Schedule new music releases (both digital and physical).Ensure timely delivery of assets to ensure successful execution of release timelines.Liaise between artists/managers and relevant WMN departments (A&R, creative, publicity, digital, streaming, radio, etc.).Regularly evaluate, measure, and report on the effectiveness of marketing efforts.Ensure that the artist’s voice, vision, and creative throughline is consistent and runs throughout all marketing touchpoints.About you:You have 5+ years of marketing experience.Passionate about music.Proficient in building and handling budgets.Highly creative.Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.Enjoy building and fostering relationships across teams, departments, and with external partners.Have exemplary written and verbal communication skills.Are driven to be innovative, think outside the box, and suggest improvements within your scope of work.About us:As the home to 10K Projects, 300 Elektra, Asylum, Atlantic, East West, FFRR, Fueled by Ramen, Nonesuch, Parlophone, Rhino, Roadrunner, Sire, Warner Records, Warner Classics, and several other of the world’s premier recording labels, Warner Music Group champions emerging artists and global superstars alike.
