Responsibilities
Work with marketing staff, firm leadership, and senior staff to design, write, and produce proposals, presentations, and other marketing collateral in alignment with Klingner’s brand standards.Copy edit and proofread written text provided by colleagues, customizing the content to specific client needs and requirements.Interview staff and draft resumes, project sheets, blog posts, and white pages.Write compelling and persuasive submittal content, featuring Klingner’s capabilities, expertise, and unique selling points.Handle outside requests of a general promotional nature from clients, consultants, etc.Help update and maintain opportunity pipeline data in Salesforce.Research incoming leads, follow up and track their status, and develop new materials to support business development activities.Know Klingner’s evolving portfolio of work, departments, and service offerings.Develop social media strategies and content.Create and maintain website content.Assist with identifying project photography needs.Manage other responsibilities, as assigned.

Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a marketing position.Experience in the A/E/C industry is a plus; experience in an architecture, engineering, or design firm is especially valuable.Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Design, or related field.Experience delivering significant marketing projects, coaching colleagues for presentations, and working closely with leadership and other senior staff on marketing strategy and deliverables.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to craft a story in a compelling manner, including creating effective presentations and marketing collateral.Excellent ability to manage work on multiple projects and respond effectively to shifting priorities.Strong ability to self-direct and follow through on assigned tasks with limited supervision.Strong ability to organize and track a wide range of information and activity from varying sources and access that information as needed.A high degree of competency in InDesign is a must.Working knowledge of other Adobe Creative Suite tools is a plus.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is a must.Familiarity with social media platforms, content development, and scheduling tools.Experience working with Salesforce or other CRM tools is a plus.
