Hostel Shoppe is a nationally known recumbent bike and trike specialty shop located in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, with a focus on adaptive cycling.Hostel Shoppe is looking for a Digital Marketing Assistant to help with various marketing duties, including, but not limited to, the following:Primarily assist in maintaining the store website, including updating webpages, updating pictures, adding SEO and meta text, updating ADA requirements, building landing pages, and more.Secondarily, as needed, assist the marketing manager in developing and implementing marketing promotions and content on our website, social media, by email, and on YouTube.Assist the marketing manager in planning and implementing store events.Marketing Assistant Skills and QualificationsStrong written and verbal communication skills are important in the Digital Marketing Assistant role. You regularly need to collaborate with team members, vendors, and other company employees to understand the needs of the marketing department.Good organizational skills and attention to detail are essential to organize details and complete multiple projects in a timely manner.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.Interest and knowledge in cycling a plus, but not necessary.Experience with SEO and metadata a plus.Position DetailsAvailability of 20 to 40 hours per week, with flexible scheduling. Some Saturdays and weekends required for events.On-the-job training in our point-of-sale system and website platform, as well as in other processes and procedures.Room for growth and advancement.Generous employee discounts.
