This role is responsible for connecting a variety of audiences more closely to the message and mission of Cru through the creation of compelling video content that stimulates a passion for the Great Commission.

The Kind of Work You’ll be Doing:

Assist in collaboration with key stakeholders to understand current video needs, project requirements, and objectives for content that resonates with target audiences.Oversee, develop, and document project pipelines, and coordinate with subject matter experts.Oversee the end-to-end video production process, from concept development and scriptwriting to shooting, editing, and final delivery, ensuring high-quality and visually compelling output.Initiate journalistic research with staff to track down potential video stories and conduct extensive pre-interviews to determine story viability and angles.Utilize video studio production technology to capture high-quality video footage with and without green screen technology.Develop video scripts in partnership with clients.Plan and execute video shoots, including location scouting, casting, equipment coordination, and production logistics. Coordinate with production crews, direct talent, and volunteers onsite and manage budgets for video shoots.Edit and post-produce videos, utilizing creative techniques, visual effects, and sound design to enhance storytelling and production value.

Experience and Skills

Associate degree in Videography, Video Technology, and/or Production or other related field and 3 years of experience with video software and equipment, Google Suite, with promotional and brand video production. Experience working with a non-profit ministry-focused organization is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
