Your Opportunity
We’re looking for a full-time Senior Marketing Specialist (SMS). This position works proactively to support business development and create winning proposal submissions/presentations and communications in the pursuit of specific project opportunities to achieve financial and market leadership goals.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for details —an energetic team player who can communicate effectively, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development/Account Management/Proposal Development
Provide input and work closely with Business Center (BC) leadership to support Stantec’s corporate and regional goals for revenue growth.
Work with business developers on Capture Plans that include a pursuit schedule with milestones and action items.
Prepare high-impact proposals, presentations, and other communications in alignment with the Stantec brand.
Serve in a quality control capacity during the preparation and review of proposal materials.
Monitor opportunity-related websites and publications for project opportunities.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
Post-Secondary in business, marketing, communications, public relations, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in a marketing role in a medium to large organization.
Other Requirements:
Strong knowledge and understanding of marketing and business development best practices.
Detail-oriented and organized, with exceptional prioritization skills.
Ability to effectively communicate with senior management and clients.
Ability to work effectively within a group as well as independently.
