Our client, a leading Tax Software and Payment Solutions company, is hiring an Instructional Designer for a 6 Month Contract opportunity Hybrid in Plano, TX.
Title:
Instructional Designer
Description:Use up-to-date knowledge and skills associated with analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation Access and use other expert resources to design and develop trainingDetermine audience needs and flex program design to be applicable for the particular audienceDesign and develop Technology-Based training (TBT) and instructor-led training (ILT) packages based on data collection and analysisWork flexible hours to support the development and delivery of workshops, which may exceed the typical workdayConsistently exhibit a positive outlook and collaborate in a highly engaged fashion with other team membersMaintain focus to achieve results and meet deadlines for multiple projectsDevelops expertise in instructional design process methodology including analysis of the audience, job tasks, the development of curriculum maps, storyboards, flowcharts, performance objectives, testing strategies, and learning activitiesMaintain regular and frequent communications with development stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of projectsRegularly solicits feedback from peers, staff, and managers, and applies the learning to enhance their own performance and capabilitiesLearning how to utilize metrics to manage and assess deliverablesUtilizes internal processes, tools, and systems for on-time deliverySeeks guidance for prioritization and review of deliverablesConfidently articulate the value of training and make training recommendations to Sales Leaders that solve their specific business needsPresent training KPIs and training impacts to sales organization
Skills:Demonstrate the ability to conduct end-to-end analysis for learning needsDemonstrate the ability to design performance-based courses aligned to identified objectives and target population characteristics2+ years of work experience in, adult Learning/education design and development, Instructional design or similar capacity
