Not ApplicableJob DescriptionThe Instructional Designer will collaborate with the Center for Online and Digital Learning’s ( CODL ) team and faculty to design and build online courses to include instructional activities and engagements.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree required.Three (3) plus years’ experience in instructional design or course building.Job Specific Qualifications

Knowledge and application of adult learning principles.Ability to be a team player.Strong attention to detail.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including grammar, spelling, punctuation.Experience directly assisting faculty with instructional design strategies.Responsibilities

Work to understand online course plans including necessary materials, teaching approaches, and student assessment.Manage course materials on the

LMS , monitor deployment and delivery of course materials, and troubleshoot problems as they arise with the

LMS

and course content.Provide quality control by completing checklists related to the build phase, contribute to the overall quality assurance process, and assist with special curriculum projects identified by the Academic and Instructional Design teams.Physical Requirements
