Summer Digital Marketing Associate

Overview

We're seeking an enthusiastic and creative individual to join our team as a Summer Digital Marketing Associate. In this role, you'll help develop engaging content for our theme park's digital marketing channels, including our website, mobile app, and social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and X).

Responsibilities

As our Summer Digital Marketing Associate, you will:

Create captivating photo and video content using various multimedia equipment, including GoPro and DSLR camerasSupport in-park events, media events, and remote activationsDesign eye-catching social media graphicsAlign content and messaging with our Public Relations and Marketing goalsProvide administrative support to the Marketing and Brand Management teamsTake on additional related tasks as needed

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who embodies several of the following attributes and skills:

Friendly and outgoing personality, with the ability to interact positively with park guestsCreative mindset with an eye for design detailsWillingness to try new things and accept constructive feedbackStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work well both independently and as part of a teamExcellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projectsExperience in creating vertical short-form video content (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels)Photography and videography skills, including experience with GoPro and DSLR camerasProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Knowledge of graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and IllustratorFamiliarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and X)Strong guest service orientation and interpersonal skillsProblem-solving abilities and capacity to work under tight deadlinesAdaptability to flexible, changing goals and objectivesResults-driven attitude with a focus on achieving company goalsA portfolio of recent work is appreciated but not required

Schedule

This position offers flexible hours, with ideal availability being Monday to Saturday from 11am-7pm. Candidates should be prepared to work some extended evenings/nights, most weekends, and during holidays throughout the operating season.

Requirements

Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, as per company policy and applicable lawsSuccessful completion of a background check for candidates 18 years of age or older (may include credit, criminal, DMV, employment, education, and personal reference checks), subject to company policy and applicable lawsValid Driver's License
