PetSafe Brands EU Headquarters is in Dundalk, Louth. Where’s that you say? Dundalk, County Louth, enjoys a great location, strategically located approximately midway between the two largest cities in the island of Ireland, Belfast and Dublin. It is just 50 minutes from Dublin airport. Dundalk is one of the most historical parts of Ireland with Louth known as the ‘land of legends’. Rich in heritage, many of the famous Irish legends and epics were based in the wonderful landscape here. Ancestors from years gone by, including Saint Patrick, Fionn MacCumhaill, the mythical Cúchulainn, the Vikings, the Normans and Cromwell have left indelible marks on the local landscape. Even the town crest of Dundalk reads "the place where brave Cúchulainn was born"
As a Dundalk resident, you will have the Cooley Mountains, Carlingford Lough, and Dundalk Bay on your doorstep to enjoy. Dundalk Stadium is Irelands only all-weather horse and greyhound track but also features a lively town centre with many boutiques, restaurants and bars. Hometown of the band The Corrs, who sold 40 million albums worldwide.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive direction and feedback on project/product strategic vision from UX ManagerWork with product categories, engineers, and developers on a range of pet products, native apps, and websitesCreate wireframes, visual comps, prototypes, style guides, and other deliverables as needed to effectively communicate and evaluate design conceptsFacilitate design discovery, including the creation of personas, scenarios, and principlesDesign within, maintain, and evolve design systems that include interaction patterns, colors, typography, animations, etc.Represent and advocate customer-centered design within teams and the organizationPresent and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to the businessWork with developers and engineers to oversee changes through to completion and be accountable for the finished quality of the productWork on concurrent projects in a dynamic environmentGive and receive feedback from peers and stakeholders alike.
REQUIRED SPECIFICATIONS:
Solid understanding of usability, universal design, and designing for touch.2-4 years of experienceFluency in current visual design practices, digital design software (Figma, Sketch App, Adobe Creative Suite), and UI prototyping and testing tools (Figma, InVision, Flinto, Marvel, etc).Experience working with development/engineering teams seeing design from proof of concept to implementation to ensure design is delivered efficientlyAbility and willingness to communicate, share knowledge and collaborate across departmentsStrong work ethic and high standards for quality and efficiencyBachelor’s degree in User Experience Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction or related fieldPortfolio of professional work demonstrating relevant experience
PREFERRED SPECIFICATIONS:
Experience creating design systems and style guidesExperience designing Internet of Things applicationsExperience working on an Agile teamUnderstanding of html, CSS, and Javascript

Timely execution of high-quality design deliverablesCapture and act on feedbackParticipation in backlog grooming and sprint planning–collaboration with IoT and Product Management departmentsParticipating and assisting customer-centric research as necessary
RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to User Experience ManagerWorks with the User Experience Manager, UX/UI Designers, Software Team Manager and Developers to design and maintain a portfolio of applicationsWorks directly with all Brands, Product Categories, and Service DepartmentsWorks with Brand Marketing teams to ensure consistent branding and messagingWorks with outside vendors as applicable.
