GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior Designer for our Fishers, IN office. A successful candidate is one who uses engineering principles and design software to help design and develop plans for civil infrastructure projects.

Job Duties:Prepare plans utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D.Participate in technical studies, design, preparation of specifications, and technical plans.Fill out and complete permit applications for processing.Provide construction administration support including field observation reports.

Experience and Education:Perform work under minimal supervision.Independently solve complex issues and problems under the direction of a project manager.Possess comprehensive knowledge of the subject matter.Require accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program and 4 to 6 years of experience.Familiar with reaching out to jurisdictional authorities to determine the correct requirements.
