The Product Communications team supports the launch and promotion of new features and services, while actively defending Robinhood’s public story and image.Robinhood is hiring a communications manager to deliver exceptional media results focused on our brokerage technology, services, and products. You'll help craft the media narrative behind our core products and technology across Robinhood Financial, and beyond. You’ll be adept at bringing colleagues together across product, marketing, and brand to capture the imagination of customers and drive awareness and participation. You'll explore innovative ways to tell our story through tech, business, and financial press, finding new ways to reach people, help them see themselves as investors, and understand Robinhood’s suite of products and services. This role reports to our Head of Product Communications.What you’ll doJoin the team responsible for driving conversations with media and amplifying the Robinhood narrative through products and services. You will:Work cross-functionally to develop PR strategies that amplify integrated campaigns with Product Marketing, Brand Marketing, and other teamsDevelop and execute PR strategies for product launches that build on the Robinhood brand narrativeManage proactive news engine across all media verticals and reactive inbound media inquiriesCoordinate press briefings, media tours and events, and create press materials including blog posts, media pitches, FAQs and fact sheetsWork closely with Compliance and Legal regarding all aspects of your roleWhat you bring8+ years of direct experience in public relations and communicationsA track record of launching products to tech, finance and business media, and building close relationships with pressProduct PR experience such as developing campaigns, launching new products and services, managing product reviews, and building media strategiesCrisis management experience and proven ability to earn trust with key internal stakeholdersExperience building easy-to-understand narratives from complex technical mattersDeep understanding of new media and influencersExperience working on high profile brandsExperience with Crypto productsExperience working internationally across time zonesWhat we offerMarket competitive and pay equity-focused compensation structure100% paid health insurance for employees with 90% coverage for dependentsAnnual lifestyle wallet for personal wellness, learning and development, and more!Lifetime maximum benefit for family forming and fertility benefitsDedicated mental health support for employees and eligible dependentsGenerous time away including company holidays, paid time off, sick time, parental leave, and more!Lively office environment with catered meals, fully stocked kitchens, and geo-specific commuter benefitsBase pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan.
