Marketing and Events SpecialistReporting to the Strategic Marketing Manager, the Marketing and Events Specialist will be responsible for end-to-end integrated marketing plan execution and strategic event marketing support with a results-driven mindset. Serving as a hands-on creative, this role will own ideating, integrating, deploying, and measuring robust marketing and event plans that drive successful business outcomes. Our ideal candidate is skilled at communicating with cross-functional teams, passionate about setting and achieving marketing results essential to business growth—while nurturing collaboration in an agile, fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:Develop and execute marketing strategies that align with overall marketing goals and objectives.Support the team in building long-term, value-based customer & distributor relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives.Create high-quality, engaging, and relevant visuals and content for various channels, including advertising campaigns, sales tools, blog posts, tradeshow exhibits, social media, email, and website.Coordinate with outside agencies, art services, event and merchandising vendors, printers, and colleagues as necessary. Package files for prepress for printing as needed.Attend events or trade shows as required to support business needs.Work with vendors to solicit and book event & catering functions, as well as the planning, merchandising, and execution of the functions.Track, measure and optimize campaigns for maximum effectiveness, drawing insight from program analytics to refine and make agile adjustments to continually optimize campaign and specific channel performance.Ensure content is curated for channels, audiences, and locations and is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice.Analyze schedules, identify obstacles, re-prioritize and refine execution processes to uphold deadlines to ultimately deliver stellar outcomes.Work across functional departments internationally and with identified marketing suppliers in creative, digital, content, and others to bring campaigns, programs, and initiatives to market.Education Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or equivalent.Associates degree will be considered with a minimum of 4 years industry experience.At least 4 years of experience in an agency or company executing strategic campaigns, projects, and deliverables.Position Requirements:Experience building and executing marketing plans, with solid understanding of target audiences, KPIs, multi-channel optimization, the sales funnel, and brand identity.Knowledge of online content strategy and creation.A strong eye for visual composition and dynamic messaging, both digitally and in person at customer-facing events and trade shows.Effective time management skills and the ability to create and meet deadlines.Identifies and overcomes barriers and resource restraints, thrives in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities.Agile, resourceful, champions alternative perspectives and influences others to change.Experience as a copywriter or related role.Working knowledge of DSLR camera.Adobe Creative Suite experience required, Salesforce and HubSpot experience preferred.20% travel (passport required).Textron is committed to providing Equal Opportunity in Employment, to all applicants and employees regardless of race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, military status, veteran status, handicap, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information or any other characteristic protected by law.
