Our District serves over 2600 students in one high school, an alternative high school, one middle school, and three elementary schools and employs approximately 160 teachers and 200 other employees to meet the needs of our students. Qualifications:• Associates (or higher) degree, or have two years of college (60 credits), or have successfully passed the ETS Paraprofessional exam preferred• Must be competent in math skills• Must be of good health; and be able to lift, bend, and stretch as job requires.• Must have a good attendance record.• Must possess good decision-making skills.• Must be willing to grow professionally.• Must be flexible in work assignments.• Must demonstrate sociability and warmth in attitude toward students, other employees, and the supervisor.
Duties:Operates the circulation desk-assisting students and staff in locating, selecting and using media center materials. Assists the Media Specialist in preparing or presenting instructional materials. Design and carry out clerical duties such as inventory, collection maintenance, processing new library resources, compiling records/reports and other projects as assigned by the Media Specialist.
This position works 7.5 hours per day following the teacher schedule. Exact hours to be determined by principal.
