Polysomnographic Sleep Technician

Our Tech Valley Sleep Center is looking for a Per Diem registered and licensed Polysomnographic Sleep Technologist. This position will perform comprehensive polysomnographic testing and analysis, and associated interventions under the general oversight of the Medical/Technical Director.

Essential Functions include, but are not limited to:

* Gather and analyze patient information.* Follow all testing preparation procedures including but not limited to: prepare and calibrate equipment, apply electrodes and sensors, perform routine positive airway pressure (PAP mask fitting).* Follow all polysomnographic procedural protocols.* Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide age specific care in the treatment, assessment, and education of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.* Assist with all polysonmographic record scoring.* Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and standards regarding safety and infection control issues.* Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and a high degree of integrity with HIPAA guidelines and patient matters.* DME-Cpap equipment set-ups. Instruct patient on Cpap set-up/use and maintenance.* Complete all paperwork necessary for billing.

Hourly salary range: $22.74-$34.11
