Provides sales, marketing, and communityeducation activities to establish positive relationships with referral sources, to enhance knowledge of the Agency and its services in the community and among professional groups, and to support the Agency’s attainment of objectives consistent with regulatory compliance and Agency policies, procedures, and standards. Strives to increase client admissions that meet Agency’s budgetary goals.

Knows and supports the philosophy,purpose, mission, goals, and policies of the organization.

·Understands the Agency’s service lines, aswell as federal/state regulations regarding Medicare, Medicaid, and PrivateInsurance service offerings.

·Coordinates sales activities and providescommunity education to the public.

·Informs referral sources and home carestaff of pertinent issues that impact home care through educationalpresentations and programs.

·Develops and maintains contacts with areahealth care facilities, organizations, and physicians that initiate home healthreferrals.

·Identifies, communicates, andstrategically addresses new and emerging business line opportunities in themarketplace.

·Meets monthly referral quotas establishedby the Agency.

·Meets client admission goals establishedby the Agency.

·Develops and implements processes toidentify and address unmet needs of current and prospective referral sources.

·Designs, creates, produces, anddistributes health care educational materials to health care providers and thepublic.

·Consults weekly and as needed with the VPof Business Development to discuss challenges and opportunities, as well as toprovide information updates regarding business growth.

·Serves as a health care resource throughparticipation in community education:

a. Initiatesand oversees community activities such as health fairs, local events, speakingengagements, etc.

b. Representsthe Agency at selected community activities.

c. Remainsknowledgeable in all areas of the medical community, including health andcommunity organizations, new physicians, and health services.

·Attends, participates, and makespresentations for community committees, health conferences, client/familysupport groups, civic organizations, and educational programs.

·Supports and participates in performanceimprovement activities as requested.

·Assists with Agency professional andparaprofessional recruitment efforts as needed.

·Performs other duties as assigned by theVP of Business Development or Chief Operating Officer.

Prefer a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN),Registered Nurse (RN), Physical Therapist (PT), or Medical Social Worker (MSW);equivalent business or health care experience may be substituted.

·Three years of experience in health care setting.

·Has excellent organizational andinter-personal skills.

·Has strong oral and written communicationskills, including correct usage of spelling and grammar.

·Works with minimal supervision.

·Able to manage multiple projects andchanging priorities.

·Is able to use computer for wordprocessing and data entry applications.
