Job Description***** URGENT NEED TO PLACE VETERINARIAN ****
Our practice owner and sole veterinarian, Dr. Mike Nelson, had a seizure in his home two weeks ago. After having a CT scan, it was discovered that Dr. Mike had a 4.5cm x 6.5cm mass in his brain. The neurosurgeon informed Dr. Mike that only 80% of the mass can be removed due to its location. He will be having surgery on Monday, April 29th, to remove the mass. After the mass is removed, he will need chemotherapy. At this time, everyone's future is a big question mark. We are unsure if and when Dr. Mike can return to work. We are currently seeking a veterinarian to fill in the gaps while he is out so we can continue to provide care to our loyal patients. We are also trying to ensure that our staff members will still have jobs and be able to feed their families. We are willing to schedule our appointments around the schedule of any interested veterinarian willing to help us.
