Job Description

Southside Animal Hospital and Wellness Center is seeking an Associate Veterinarian.

Southside Animal Hospital and Wellness Center is a small animal facility open since 1996 with our newest associate celebrating over 10 years with our team. Together, we provide progressive lifelong patient care along with orthopedic surgery complemented by canine rehabilitation through our on-site Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist. We are seeking dedicated Veterinarians with strong general medicine skills and soft tissue surgery experience with a goal of acquiring or advancing their orthopedic surgery offerings. We provide care for dogs, cats, and ferrets and are open to expanding care to exotic animals and pocket pets.

About our Team:

Southside Animal Hospital and Wellness Center is a highly collaborative team that works with our clients to ensure that the patient receives prompt and quality care. To foster our high standard of teamwork, our doctors are compensated with a competitive salary and succeed together with a shared quarterly bonus that enables us to focus on our patients and professional growth. Our hospital hosts advanced diagnostics including in-house hematology equipment, digital full body and dental radiology, as well as reinvesting in a new ultrasound machine in the past year. We utilize Cornerstone software and are transitioning to Electronic Medical Records. Our team is dedicated and tenured and keeps the day drama free. We enjoy holiday potlucks together, as well as team events such as staff picnics and group zoo visits.

SALARY PLUS Compensation Model:

Guaranteed Annual SALARY paid month to month (range $130,000 - $140,000 depending on experience)

PLUS Monthly Production Bonus (we are paying your guaranteed salary UP FRONT and then you have the ability to produce up to and beyond this salary minimum. The additional revenue produced will qualify you for a production bonus based on a percentage rate of 21%-23%.)

Signing Bonus Package:

* Sign on Bonus will be paid at start date ($5,000-$10,000) * Relocation Bonus Package ($5,000 - $10,000)

New Grad Benefits

* Regional Next Level Mentorship Program for all New Grads for year one. * $15,000 Tuition Assistance Bonus to newly graduated veterinarians who commit to a contract by the end of 2024. * $5,000 CE for newly graduated veterinarians who commit to a contract by end of 2024. * Referral Program Eligibility Once you sign with us, if you refer "a friend" you can earn an additional $10,000. * Other Bonuses * We love to add specific incentives aimed at YOU. Paid Time Off

* Minimum 2 weeks (12 days)

Schedule

* 3-4 days a week (10-hour shifts) - counts as full time

CE & Professional Memberships

* Annual stipend for CE of your choice ($2,500 - $3,000) * Professional Training and Development upon request * Midmark Dental Training * Membership in AVMA, VIN, AKVMA, your choice of additional memberships
