The Art Therapist is responsible for assessing, planning, and providing art therapy, emotional support, and counseling for identified patients receiving care from our Palliative Care and Oncology Care Teams. The Art Therapist will lead support groups as needed, as well as individually designed interventions using art therapy and/or verbal counseling for these patients and their caregivers. The Art Therapist will record and communicate to other team members the results of these clinical approaches in a clinical progress note, electronically, for any patient receiving services. The Art Therapist will maintain a sign-out process with the Palliative Care team.

Position: Art Therapist, Oncology- Part Time
Shift: Day Shift- 16 hours/week
Experience:
One to two years of experience preferred in a medical setting with adult population.
Education:
Masters Degree in Creative Arts Therapy required
