What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):- Update and manage web content for the Wisconsin Historical Society, focusing on WordPress and the Content Management System- Collaborate with the IT Director, Software Engineer, and Web Designer on web-related projects- Learn and apply new software and technologies relevant to web development- Assist in ensuring web pages meet organizational standards and deadlines- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding project progress and requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):- Currently enrolled as a student in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Web Development, User Experience (UX) design)- Knowledge of web design and development practices- Ability to learn new software and technologies- Capability to work independently and as part of a team- Strong communication skills, particularly in meeting deadlines and collaborating with stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):- Knowledge of copywriting- Knowledge of photo editing- Familiarity with WordPress- Some knowledge of HTML/CSS- Previous experience in web content management or development projects
