Responsibilities include:Acting as an Expert/Consultant for development teams throughout the connector lifecycle.Creating focus matrices and technical documentation required during development.Designing and developing connectors, terminals, and contacting elements.Consulting and technical evaluation of connectors and terminals.Managing all issues and questions related to crimp technology, including special solutions regarding design and material.Conducting vibration risk assessments of connection systems based on vehicle measurement data using VMA.Performing risk evaluations and risk releases (dimension and vibration).Conducting damage/failure analysis for all connector parts and coating systems.Problem-solving during development and series production phases.Planning, coordinating, and performing tests as per different OEM connector specifications and automotive industry standards.Conducting market research about non-Bosch connector systems and benchmarking.Participating in DRBFM, FMEA, and focus matrix of plug connection systems.Training various customer departments about connector systems and basic functions.Qualifications:Mechanical/Mechatronics/Industrial Engineer with 6+ years of experience in connector development domain. Knowledge of thermoplastics, elastomers, metals, and plating materials. Familiarity with manufacturing processes like molding, stamping, plating, and assembly.6-8 years of experience in the connectors industry.
