GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

The Content Marketing Specialist will be responsible for executing effective digital marketing campaigns and strategies, with a focus on content creation for our blog, social media channels, and podcasts. The role will involve working closely with the marketing and sales departments to develop content strategies across multiple channels to drive engagement and improve awareness. The Content Marketing Specialist will need to be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Creation:

Develop, write, and edit website content, blog articles, case studies, webinars, sales collateral, and other marketing materials that align with our brand voice and goals.

Conduct research to ensure content is relevant, accurate, and optimized for search engines.

Social Media Management:

Create, schedule, and manage social media posts across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram).

Monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities and respond to comments and messages.

Email Marketing:

Design and execute email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional emails, and automated drip campaigns.

Analyze email campaign performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Video and Podcast Production:

Assist in the planning, scripting, and editing of basic video content for social media and website use.

Support the production of podcasts, including recording, editing, and publishing episodes.

Analytics and Reporting:

Track and analyze content performance across all channels, providing insights and recommendations to improve future content.

Regularly report on KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) related to content marketing, social media, email campaigns, and video/podcast initiatives.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the Marketing Director, VP of Revenue, and sales teams to align content with overall business goals.

Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging platforms to keep our content strategy fresh and competitive.

Supporting the Marketing Director in other general marketing duties as needed

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position will require lifting, twisting, standing, bending, sitting or crouching at least 90% of the time. Frequent use of a phone and keyboard will be repetitive. The employee will be required to travel from time to time and must be willing to work various shifts to accommodate the needs of company events. The employee must be able to lift and carry items up to 20 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The nature of this position will require the employee to work in various elements (Inside, Outside, Sitting, Standing, etc. and in various temperatures)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

2+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in content creation or a similar role.

Proved track record of successfully executing marketing campaigns across multiple channels.

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

Excellent writing and editing skills, with experience in creating content for a variety of channels

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns and content impact on overall business goals

Experience with WordPress and search engine optimization

·Proficiency with digital marketing tools and technologies including Google Analytics, SEMrush, Hubspot, Salesforce, Zoom, Canva/Photoshop, Rank Math

Knowledge of digital marketing best practices and emerging trends.

Creative thinker with a passion for developing innovative marketing solutions.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)

Familiarity with graphic design tools

Understanding of SEO principles and practices.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

Video Editing Experience

Hubspot Inbound Marketing Certification (or others)

Google Analytics Certification (or others)

Experience in telecom, MSP, security industry
