Lead Product Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Lead Product Designer to join our dynamic team. This position is in Richmond with a hybrid schedule of 4 days onsite / 1 day remote.Responsibilities:
Drive the overall design vision and strategy for the product, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Engineers, and Researchers.Lead and mentor a team of designers, providing guidance and feedback.Plan and oversee comprehensive user research initiatives and usability testing sessions.Develop detailed user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and designs for complex features and products.Create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that prioritize user experience.Partner with Engineering teams to ensure designs are accurately implemented.Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback and data analysis.Own and evolve the design system, promoting consistency and scalability.Advocate for user-centered design principles within the organization.Represent the design team in strategic planning and decision-making processes.Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in design, HCI, or related field.7+ years of experience in product design and a proven track record of leading successful projects.Exceptional portfolio showcasing end-to-end design projects.Expert proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.Proven ability to lead and mentor design teams.Extensive experience in designing data-rich interfaces and workflows.Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the commercial real estate industry.Portfolio showcasing work that features data visualization and complex workflows.Experience leading design teams in a fast-paced environment.NOTE: This position requires that you present a portfolio of past projects as part of your application.WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
