Req #632Friday, August 23, 2024JOB OVERVIEW:The Studio Photographer is responsible for producing high quality product photography across a portfolio of Backcountry’s e-commerce sites. This position requires technical photo ability, a critical eye for detail and styling, and the ability to perform as part of a large-scale production. Primary responsibilities will live with off-model product production, with the opportunity to flex skills across a wide assortment of product types and occasional on-model production.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Photograph products for backcountry e-commerce sitesFollow brand & creative style guidesFocus styling, lighting, and product details to best showcase productsMeet daily/weekly assignmentsAdhere to file management guidelinesManage your workflow to ensure throughput and quality standards are metMaintain professionalism when working with creative team & modelsMaintain workstations and studio equipmentFollow inventory management protocolsContribute to manual labor when needed, such as set break down, moving product, etc.QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:Experience working with models, stylists, and art directorsUnderstanding of digital cameras & Profoto strobe lighting systemsWorking knowledge of Capture One, Adobe Creative Cloud, Lightroom CC, tethered capture, and OS XGood organizational skills and exceptional attention to detailAbility to prioritize multiple tasks, and maintain strict deadlinesTeam-oriented mentalityAbility to work independently and efficientlyB.S.
