Our Experience Designers work across multiple disciplines and industries and can understand their clients' businesses and build credibility quickly.

What You'll DoCollaborate with clients and internal teams to design the overall user experience for a wide variety of digital experiences and applications, from websites to mobile applications and whatever's next-addressing things like interaction design, information architecture and visual designAdvise clients of current UX/XD methodologies, while maintaining flexibility and adapting to their methods utilizing outstanding communication, design thought management, presentation and storytelling skillsHelp clients better understand their users - through structuring and conducting user research and evaluating usability of finished designsPlan, conduct, and direct client white-boarding sessions, design sprints, design workshops, and project meetingsPrototype (ranging from low- to high-fidelity with interactions and visual design) solutions and iterate on them based on user insight and client feedbackPartner with product management, engineering, and/or additional client stakeholders to design and define roadmaps and prioritize requirementsAdvocate for design by sharing your work and presenting cross-functionally, while being able to articulate design rationaleDevelop, produce, and iterate wireframes, information architecture diagrams, clickable prototypes, UI guidelines and design assetsStay up-to-date on the latest UX/UI trends, design tools, accessibility, and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to delivering exceptional for clientsCollaborate with your XD teammates from design reviews to pitches for new workBring your own unique perspective to solving difficult problemsWhat You'll Bring

3+ years of UI/UX (full stack) experience - taking ownership, driving understanding, and delivering solutions that exceed expectationsProficiency with UX design-related software and tools (e.g. Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, InVision, etc.)Proven experience applying design thinking principles to identify user problems, generate innovative solutions, and iterate designs based on feedbackBreadth of experience along the spectrum of UX design and ability to wear multiple hatsExperience creating personas and customer journey maps and other research deliverablesProficiency in creating comprehensive design specifications and documentation that clearly communicate design intent, interaction details, and visual style to developers and stakeholdersStrong interest in designing for emerging technologies, mobile UX, and an aptitude for learning new technologiesPassion for learning and drive to grow!

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $105,000 to $133,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
