One of our clients in Irvine has asked us to assist them with a high-priority recruiting effort to identify a
Senior-level UI/UX Designer / Developer.
This is initially a 6-month consulting engagement. This is a hybrid remote role. Candidates must live within a driving distance of Irvine, CA. A description of the position is listed below.The UI/UX Designer
will work with product managers and key stakeholders to create user-centric designs via storyboards, process flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes by gathering, organizing, and understanding user and business requirements.Primary ResponsibilitiesDesign online software productsGather, document, and understand key requirementsTranslate requirements into storyboards and interactive prototypes to convey proposed user experiences to stakeholders and developersContinuously advocate for the user, focusing on their needs and wantsDesign, implement, and act upon custom user research to determine the optimal user experiences and regularly improve themLeverage expertise, requirements, and user research to build interactive prototypes of the new experiencesUtilize website analytics to determine how audiences are utilizing the customer experiences and incorporate that understanding in design enhancements.Create an enterprise design style guide and implement it across websites and experiencesPreferred Education, Experience, and Skills:A Bachelor's degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience7+ years designing a portfolio of online customer product experiencesProven experience as a UX Designer or UX Developer or a similar roleStrong skills in modern design software (Figma, XD, InVision, or similar)Portfolio of consumer and SaaS design projectsExpert in HTML/CSSExperience with JavaScript / React / Vue UI is beneficialSelf-driven, problem-solving, and analytical - A hunger for creating and continually improving upon great experiencesTeam player who collaborates well with othersExpertise in designing interfaces for reporting systems, including multi-faceted controls, sorting mechanisms, filters, etc. is very beneficial for SaaS productsExperience in designing email and other digital marketing campaigns is a plus, but the role is primarily UX designKnowledge of JIRA and other Agile developmentCandidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.For immediate consideration, please email a MS Word or PDF version of your updated resume to Justin Williams at jwilliams@.
