Design and Motion Graphics Artist

to bring top-level design to multi-platform, revenue-generating campaigns across our Disney Entertainment IP and brands– including Hulu, ABC, Freeform, FX, Nat Geo, Disney Channels and Disney+. The Designer will be responsible for balancing numerous projects in a fast-paced environment, balancing client considerations and the unique visual identify of each of Disney’s channels and shows.Responsibilities:Create design and motion graphics for client work across Disney CreativeWorks, considering high level campaign objectives as well as and specific design needs- with an emphasis on work specific to the streaming landscape.Develop and design sales materials and decks to support creative conceptsInteract with Brand Marketing and UX stakeholders from Disney’s various networks to understand specific visual nuance of each, including brand guidelines and title specific creative considerations, as well as specific ad product offerings.Minimum Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in motion graphics & design video content.Ad Agency and/or entertainment experience preferredProficient in Mac, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)Advanced skills in design and animation software/technologies preferredExperience with Maya, Cinema 4D and Houdini strongly preferredSuperior organizational and problem solving skillsMust be able to ability to multitask and work effectively under daily time constraints in a high pressure environmentPreferred Education:Degree in design, art, film or television strongly preferredThe hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, California is $112,100 to $150,200 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
