Job Title: Executive Director, US Marketing Lead-Ivonescimab

Overview of Role:

The Executive Director, US Marketing Lead-Ivonescimab is responsible for shaping the innovation agenda for Summit to deliver the company’s strategic goals and objectives. This includes establishing the innovation roadmap, strategic plan, and new product portfolio aligned to the current and future needs of the market. The incumbent will lead the implementation of the company’s strategic planning and execution processes to accelerate new product development and commercialization, guiding cross-functional team development of the projects in the portfolio and driving strategic resource planning in conjunction with commercial and cross-functional leaders. This incumbent must be an exceptional business partner with an unparalleled ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to identify key unmet customer needs, strategic areas of opportunity, and ensure flawless execution of the strategic plan. The successful candidate will have the ability to function at a broad-based, strategic level while being capable of driving detailed, tactical execution.

Role and Responsibilities:

Lead the strategic direction for the initial launch and brand strategy, and future indications for Ivonescimab, focusing on new product development, commercial innovation, launch tactics, and day-to-day marketing team execution.

Develop the future vision of the brand including future indications.

Establish and drive execution of strategic direction and define requirements for successful in-market commercial opportunities based on market analysis and strategy, business case development, and concept development for new product positioning.

Collaborate with regional Commercial Leaders to ensure launch excellence, including new product positioning, strategic pricing, and demand forecasts.

Implement core planning processes including strategic planning and agile phased gate approach to accelerate new product development and commercialization.

Support long-range planning processes, including long-range forecasting and strategic product planning with the commercial operations team.

Build launch excellence capability, including comprehensive launch planning, post-launch results tracking, and continuous improvement.

Interface with Senior Leaders cross-functionally to ensure execution of the programs.

Develop brand-specific content for all digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and content marketing.

Analyze the market to ensure understanding and response to competitive entrants, incorporating competitive strategies into new product development planning.

Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Experience, Education and Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).

12+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

8+ years of experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and/or life sciences industries.

Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive growth.

Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand management, and market research.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Experience with budget management and optimizing marketing spend.

The pay range for this role is $230,000-$275,000 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The total compensation package for this position may also include bonus, stock, benefits, and/or other applicable variable compensation.
