As eero continues to grow, we are building a world-class marketing organization and seeking a Principal Product Marketing Manager, Software & Services to support our global software & service offerings targeting our end consumer audiences. This role is responsible for being the marketing and business lead for eero’s software & service offerings serving both consumers including our mobile app experience, eero plus subscription offering and other service experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development, lead Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies for new software products and services, and manage in-market product performance across various customer segments.

This is a highly visible role which you will have an outsized impact. You will hold a high bar for measurement for the success of the B2C software & service marketing and will define success metrics, measurement methods and reporting processes for your efforts. This role is highly cross-functional and you will be an excellent communicator both verbal and written. You are comfortable with frequent executive interactions, deep partnership with product, and drive cross-organization learnings by sharing best practices & insights for software/service adoption across our B2C and B2B customers.

Key job responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive product marketing strategy, roadmap and acquisition program for eero software and services.

Create a system for determining the level of marketing support software and service launches receive by the target audience need (B2C, B2B and B2B2C).

Be the expert on our customers' software & services needs. Conduct market research and customer insights to understand what software features and benefits customers are seeking and that eero can uniquely deliver to enhance their home wifi experience.

Develop messaging, content segmentation, and customer segmentation strategies to drive new customer acquisition for consumer audiences.

Partner with sales and marketing channel managers to execute and optimize GTM strategies in line with your vision to deliver on sales programs.

Collaborate with product teams to deeply understand the opportunities to enhance the eero customer experience through software and service improvements and inform the long-term product roadmap.

Understand and drive attainment of key engagement success metrics and performance for mobile app, eero plus, and other service offers.

Develop a comprehensive product marketing strategy and roadmap to support our Pro/CI and Multi-Family (MFU) Products and Solutions inclusive of portfolio considerations, pricing, and promotional tactics that align with the company's overall business objectives.

Drive eero’s Services product marketing and go-to-market planning and execution. This includes the creation and deployment of the strategy, the launch of new products and releases, and the ongoing success tracking of each eero Service.

Establish scalable playbooks and mechanisms for product marketing strategy across different stages of development (e.g. GTM planning phases, in-market management strategies and product marketing guides or sales enablement materials).

This role requires excellent cross-functional coordination with internal and external partners, including product, sales, finance, design, and external marketing agencies.

About the team

eero’s Global Marketing Team brings the experience of powerful, reliable wifi to life through full funnel marketing initiatives focused on converting our audiences while maximizing our resources. Our customers consist of end users as well as small businesses and internet service providers, spanning B2C, B2B and B2B2C. The team is highly results oriented, and at its core, focuses on driving efficiencies and delivering against our sales and revenue goals.

Basic Qualifications

9+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams

Bachelor’s degree or higher in an associated discipline

7+ years of demonstrable product marketing, Go-To-Market, product management, and/or program management experience with software programs.

Proven track record of developing and delivering go-to-market plans.

Superb written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent time management skills. Never misses a deadline and ensures that others don’t either.

Technical category experience or desire to become technically versed in the networking category.

Passion for experimentation. Values continuous learning and displays a growth mindset.

Detail-oriented, but not afraid of failing.

Creativity; demonstrated examples of thinking outside of the box and bringing creativity to the marketing organization.

Deep understanding of research & insight, including how to develop research briefs, analyze and apply customer insights to inform a product strategy, marketing program or business objective;

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working cross-functionally across marketing, product management, analytics, UX, and research

A Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree preferred

Ability to conceptualize, scope, and execute projects to strict deadlines

Confident, self-motivated individual with strong, demonstrable bias for action

Experience driving new business segment or services launches

Both technically deep and business savvy enough to interface with all levels and disciplines within the organization

Understanding of key business motions like forecasting, planning, P&L management

Understanding of B2C and B2B GTM motions

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $153,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $252,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
