Marketing and business development is a bit of science, a touch of pizzaz, and a whole lot of customer-focused energy. We love our customers and if you feel that vibe - this is the job for you!Responsibilities:We are seeking a full-time Marketing and Sales Specialist willing to work in our Washougal office for about a day every two weeks and occasionally travel to destinations like Las Vegas, Orlando, San Francisco, and Washington D.C. to support key marketing initiatives (5%-10% travel). Your responsibilities will include:Maintain the marketing calendar and ensure timely updates to the team with tactical tasks (weekly), goals (quarterly), and strategic campaign planning (annually).Plan and coordinate conferences, webinars, trade shows, campaigns, videos, and press releases, typically in partnership with technology and go-to-market partners like Splunk, SAP, Elastic, Dynatrace, etc.In partnership with the technical team, create content, social posts, blogs, press releases, infographics, customer newsletters, etc.Maintain and optimize B2B social media (typically LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter).In partnership with contractors, maintain, update, and optimize the website (Squarespace).Get creative with new swag ideas!Stay curious by testing Google AdWords in a highly technical space.Use AI tools to our advantage - beat writer’s block and innovate rapidly with internal AI tools.Maintain positive relationships with marketing partners and contractors.Maintain marketing reports in support of revenue and budget forecasting (Excel).Maintain the marketing inventory of trade show kits, swag, and giveaways (Excel).Use best-in-class software to create content (Adobe, Canva, PowToon, AI tools).Partner with the sales team to create outreach copy and use HubSpot templates and automation to make efficient reuse of material.Oversee CRM (HubSpot) administration and policies that support revenue operations.Marketing/lead list compilation, data entry, and reporting that aids business development.Track revenue attribution and the efficiency of marketing activities, events, and programs.Implement data hygiene strategies and practices across the sales team.Design processes and workflows that streamline deal movement from contact to close to upsell.Maintain quote templates, data fields, reports, and dashboards proactively to facilitate quick and accurate financial forecasting.Become certified in HubSpot within the first 90 days.Be lean-process-minded ensuring scalable solutions are implemented as we grow.Embrace the startup culture of wearing many hats, learning a LOT, and moving fast.Minimum Requirements:New college graduate with a marketing education OR 1-2 years of experience in a marketing capacity OR 1-2 years of experience in a sales capacity with an educational background in marketing.Curiosity and a passion for cutting-edge technology.Hungry, driven, self-motivated, self-educating, well-organized with a consistent sense of urgency and ability to set, communicate, and meet deadlines with opposing priorities.Comfortable in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment.Ability to laugh and have fun (exceptional meme quality is preferred).Perks:Competitive base pay ($40K - $80K) offered to match your level of expertise.Performance bonus (up to 30%) and annual profit-sharing.401K, generous PTO, and 100% employer-paid Health Benefits & Life Insurance.Education & training reimbursement to advance your skills in tech.Talented, passionate coworkers who recognize that success is a function of tight-knit teamwork.Beautiful office space along the Columbia River in Washougal, WA where we convene regularly to feed off one another’s positive energy.Fast-paced, nimble start-up environment that rewards intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and a ‘go-getter’ attitude.Company culture that prioritizes health, family, and growth, with a willingness to invest in our employees so that they have the training, support, and work/life balance to lead a successful and fulfilling life.Front-of-the-Line Qualifications:Formal marketing education.A compelling portfolio of digital creativity, social media impact, or web design.Experience in IT or B2B tech.HubSpot certifications.Specific, demonstrable experience in some of the following software tools:
