The FFIO Technology team is looking for a Senior User Experience Designer who is passionate about their craft and will act as a champion of user-centric design, leading definition of the design work and deliver business outcomes across multiple teams, with minimal guidance and coaching. You'll partner with the squad leaders to help advise product strategy and work with development teams to drive consistent user experiences. Your focus will be to solve problems compassionately, always considering the user's perspective, and build designs that are clean, simple, and elegant aligning with user, business, and stakeholder objectives.The Expertise and Skills You Bring
5-7+ years of UX or related experience is preferredA degree or equivalent experience in a related field such as interactive design, architecture, industrial design, graphic design, or human factors is preferred.Digital portfolio we can review is preferred.Experience working on agile teams delivering user experiences across varied communication channels especially in responsive web design.Expertise in common design and prototyping tools such as FIGMA (preferred)Build and maintain appropriate interactive design deliverables like wireframes, prototypes, mockups, and iterate upon multiple ideas.Lead definition of the design work and deliver business outcomes across multiple product teams, with minimal mentorship and coaching.Strong presentation skills, specifically when presenting design flows to business, product, and development teams.Partner with the squad leads to help inform product strategy.Expertise in delivering end-to-end user experience designs focusing on entire user journeys and interactions.Partner closely with business and technology teams to find elegant but practical solutions to design challenges.Build user-centric designs focusing on user needs, business objectives, and technical capabilities.
The Team
Fidelity Fund Investment Operations (FFIO) provides accounting and investment management support services for Fidelity mutual funds and other retail and institutional investment products. These services include calculating and distributing NAVs, distribution rates and yields for a wide variety of investment products; preparing fund financial statements, dividend estimates and tax returns; monitoring delivery of fund trades to custodian banks; processing corporate actions; collecting securities income on behalf of the funds; reconciling, reporting and moving money in support of fund shareholder transactions; and managing fund liquidity.
