Tasked with shaping, advancing, and safeguarding the Council's brand and image, with a strong focus on digital media and project management. This role involves leading the development, execution, and management of strategic public relations, communications, and media campaigns across digital and traditional platforms to amplify Girl Scouting's visibility to both internal and external audiences. The incumbent leverages digital marketing tools to boost girl and adult membership and foster financial and community support. Additionally, they spearhead various marketing initiatives to generate leads for girls and adult volunteers, serving as the subject matter expert while managing the marketing team, including 2-3 direct reports, with a clear emphasis on project oversight and digital engagement strategies.

Requirements for the MarCom Manager:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, public relations, graphic design, or a related field or equivalent experience with at least two years of managerial experienceMinimum of four years of progressively responsible and related experience, and experience with digital media, graphic arts, marketing, website architecture, electronic communicationsHighly detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and excellent project management abilities, along with a proactive approach to learning and development.Proven experience building, leading, mentoring, and supporting high-functioning teams is essential.Experience with basic budget and contract administration.Strong knowledge of web content management systems, with preference for experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), with experience on the PC platform preferred.Experience in email marketing, familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud being advantageous.Proficient in social media tools and analytics.Capable of receiving and implementing feedback effectively.Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective interdepartmental relationships.Able to manage multiple projects concurrently in a deadline-driven environment.Collaborative, transparent, and inclusive work approach.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Girl Scout experience or knowledge is a plus.Technical understanding of publication production.Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.Capability to provide own transportation and maintain valid operator license.
