The Role

The FAMS UX Design Team is looking for an expert User Experience Designer (UXD) to join our growing team. In this role you will be instrumental in crafting outstanding and intuitive user experiences for applications that provide investment tools for Portfolio Managers, Portfolio Analysts, and Quant Researchers. As a champion of user-centered design you will lead definition of the design work and deliver business outcomes across multiple teams, with minimal guidance and coaching. You'll partner with the squad leaders to help inform product strategy and work with development teams to drive consistent user experiences. Your focus will be to solve problems compassionately, always considering the user's perspective, and create designs that are clean, simple, and elegant aligning with user, business, and stakeholder objectives.

The Expertise and Skills You BringBachelor's degree in Information Sciences, Human-Centered Design, or other relevant degree with 7+ years of UXD experienceExperience working on agile teams delivering user experiences across varied communication channels including web, native iOS and AndroidExpertise in common design and prototyping tools such as FIGMA (preferred)Experience in conducting usability tests and applying research to support design decisionsExpertise in delivering end-to-end user experience designs focusing on entire user journeys and interactionsCreate and maintain appropriate interactive design deliverables like wireframes, prototypes, mockups, and iterate upon multiple ideasPartner closely with business and technology teams to find elegant but practical solutions to design challengesCreate human-focused designs focusing on user needs, business objectives, and technical capabilities
