Job Description

This job requires full business side ownership of product marketing from mature planning phase all the way to product sustaining phase. A successful product marketing engineer will own and define market positioning, target customers, sales support, ecosystem readiness and customer communications on major features/attribute changes. Key Deliverables will include but not limited to the following: Full product/SKU business mgmt. (Product planning → EOL) Sales collaterals, training and support GTM Strategy, Positioning, Competitive Study and Launch Plan Prioritization of change/customer requests Customer transition plan Understanding ecosystem needs in terms of power, performance and form factors

Assists in providing technical support for one or many product(s) and/or product family. Responsibilities include representing the product to customers and sales force, representing market's needs to engineering. Conducts competitive product/pricing analysis and market research, evaluates sales performance, and formulates and reviews strategic long range plans, goals, and objectives for specific product areas. Oversees development and production of marketing material, may be required to develop and present product training material. Responsible for creation and maintenance of product briefs and price strategies to biz ops pricing team. Develops high level product specification, outbound claims and other requirements. Advisor to the sales force and key resource in interacting with engineering, product management, and marketing groups. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in a business or technical field with 5 years of work experience in related field.Experience in product or technical marketing in data center storage or Solid State Drive will be given a preference.Understanding of storage landscape, data center architecture and a passion to drive customer requirement integration into our product lines will be a plus for a successful candidate.

Additional Information

For California, Colorado, New York, Washington, and remote roles: The compensation range for this role is $113,210 to $196,720. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
