About This Opportunity:
The Director of Global Marketing for MillerKnoll Retail will help develop and execute marketing vision and strategies that deliver business objectives for the direct-to-consumer and wholesale businesses of Herman Miller and Knoll. In this role, you ensure the ethos of the brands is carried through in all customer touch points.
What you'll do: Develop the global retail marketing strategy for Herman Miller and Knoll. Create annual and quarterly plans that align with brand vision and maximize demand generation across all direct-to-consumer and wholesale touchpoints. These initiatives should drive acquisition, retention, awareness, brand equity, affinity and ultimately, revenue. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive alignment in messaging across MillerKnoll, optimize budget, customer experience and engagement. In partnership with brand, creative and product marketing teams, develop and implement comprehensive market launch plans for new products and categories to support on-going success. In partnership with regional leads, merchandising, planning and finance, develop international promotional calendars. Partner with creative leads to create powerful visual and communication vehicles to support marketing strategies, while also aligning the brand identity globally. Identify, test and scale new marketing ideas that resonate with our customers and ultimately drive revenue and/or engagement. Communicate marketing strategies and activation plans in a way that empowers the team, while lending visibility to cross-functional teams. Through test-and-learn tactics, build a strong understanding of the drivers of equity and the linkages to business performance via marketing mix and ROI measurement. Lead, manage and empower direct reports across the globe in the United States, United Kingdom, Italy, Japan, China and Brazil. Perform ad hoc responsibilities as needed to achieve business objectives. Does this sound like you?
Bachelor's Degree in business or marketing, or applicable discipline or equivalent professional experience. 7-10 years of leadership experience in global retail marketing and multi-channel marketing with a proven ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives that deliver results to the business. Successful experience in brands management, marketing and advertising communications in the luxury and/or consumer goods segment. Proven track record in conceptualizing, implementing and managing brand vision and marketing plans. Experience managing distributed teams, specifically international. Expert ability to think strategically and execute tactically; must be financially literate and possess well-developed business acumen. Strong communication and presentation skills. Strong analytical and project management skills. International experience ideal.
