The Marketing Intern will support the marketing team in executing various marketing strategies and campaigns. This role is ideal for a creative and enthusiastic individual who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced marketing environment. They will also support team members across different functions to help drive business growth and enhance brand awareness. This internship offers the opportunity to engage directly with impactful projects and gain exposure to a variety of B2B marketing disciplines. Key Responsibilities (depending on skillset, team bandwidth & business priorities) may include: Digital Marketing Support Assist in the creation and review of content for JBT's social media platforms Help manage and update the company website and blog with fresh, engaging content Support email marketing campaigns, including drafting, editing, and sending newsletters and engaging content Copywriting Write and edit blog posts, articles, and other content for the company website Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling and informative copy for various marketing materials Market Research Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential opportunities Analyze data and compile reports to support marketing strategies and decision-making Administrative Tasks Provide general administrative support to the marketing department Organize and maintain marketing files and databases Event Support Provide support for company events, trade shows, and webinars Assist with logistics, manage event calendars, and support promotional activities Content Creation Help develop marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and case studies Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling visuals and graphics Qualifications Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business Administration, or a related field Experience: Previous internship or coursework in marketing is a plus but not required. (Pay will be commensurate with experience.) Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Familiarity with marketing software and tools (e.g., CRM systems, email marketing platforms, social media management tools) is a plus Basic understanding of digital marketing principles and techniques Ability to multitask and manage time effectively Attributes: Creative and detail oriented Strong project management and organizational skills Eager to learn and develop new skills Team player with a positive attitude Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment Hours/Duration Minimum of 20-25 hrs per week, with an opportunity for more based on project needs and individual candidate desire This is a minimum 9-month commitment, beginning Fall 2024, with an opportunity for extension based on performance and business needs Why work at JBT ...
