The

Analytics & Visual Operation Engineer Support

role is dedicated to delivering superior customer service while providing critical support for the Operations and Sustainment (O&S) of Operational Analytics Dashboards and Websites. This position is based in Springfield, VA, and plays a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making for NGA executives and leadership.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement advanced visualization technology solutions such as operational analytics dashboards and websites.Ensure these solutions provide valuable insights into IT service and operations management.Maintain and enhance visualization tools to ensure their continued effectiveness and relevance.Ensure operational continuity and reliability of the visualization solutions.Perform comprehensive data collection and conditioning to prepare data for analysis.Correlate and analyze data to uncover patterns and insights that support actionable intelligence.Utilize advanced analytics and visualization tools to present data in a meaningful way.Create and maintain dashboards that allow NGA executives and leadership to assess the health, performance, and utility of the IT enterprise.Sustain and manage Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and data content sources.Ensure data sources are accurate, up-to-date, and effectively integrated into visualization tools.Provide superior customer service to stakeholders and end-users.Address and resolve issues related to operational analytics dashboards and websites promptly.Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma, / GED plus 6 years of relevant experience OR:Associates Degree and 4 years’ experience OR:Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years’ experience

Relevant experience in the following:AnalyticsVisual OperationsData CollectionExperience in the Intelligence Community

TS/SCI clearance

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Ability to obtain CI Poly ClearanceAbility to work independently and yet be effective within a team settingMust be capable of managing multiple efforts with time related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environmentDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individualsFriendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applicationsProficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, previous customer service experience strongly desired.Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve itHow you’ll growAt Chenega MIOS, our professional development plan focuses on helping our team members at every level of their careers to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
