As the Marketing Automation Manager for the Commercial and Industrial team, you will play a pivotal role in reaching our customers by leveraging the capabilities of Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You will be responsible for leading the strategy, design, implementation, and management of marketing automation campaigns within our Generac Industrial business group to drive engagement, conversion, and customer retention. Your ability to understand the various Industrial customer segments and their behaviors will be critical to enhancing our marketing communication and achieving measurable results.

Major Responsibilities:

Develop and execute the marketing automation strategy aligned with overall business objectives, customer segments, and marketing KPIs to improve customer engagement, acquisition, retention and revenue growth.

Lead Salesforce Marketing Cloud communication strategy, sequencing, and orchestration by designing and implementing end-to-end marketing automation campaigns, including email marketing, lead nurturing, customer journeys, dynamic content, and personalized experiences.

Thoroughly understand various customer groups, their needs, and their behaviors to create comprehensive customer journey maps.

Utilize Salesforce Marketing Cloud to manage customer data, segment audiences effectively, and ensure data integrity and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

Oversee the continuous testing and optimization of campaign elements, such as subject lines, content, CTAs, and timing, to enhance engagement and conversion rates, and for quality assurance.

Partner with Industrial Sales team to ideate and maximize the opportunities Marketing Cloud has to offer

Collaborate closely with marketing peers, as well as other cross-functional partners, to capture relevant content for marketing automation campaigns

Enroll sales partners to ideate and maximize the power of Marketing Cloud

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field

5 years experience in Marketing Automation, with a strong focus on SalesForce Marketing Cloud strategy and automation design

Experience in data management, segmentation, and customer journey mapping

Experience in driving results through data-driven marketing campaigns.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement features, including Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Audience Builder. Experience or desire to learn Personalization, Marketing Intelligence.

Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent collaboration skills, including the willingness to follow-up regularly to get things done

Ability to proactively stay apprised of Industrial Marketing Team activities to ensure right content gets to right customer at right time

Ability to translate certain messages from more technical speak to broadly appealing customer value propositions

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in marketing analytics tools

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications in Salesforce Cloud Admin and Marketing Cloud Email Specialist are preferred.

Proficiency in HTML/CSS, SCL and AMPscript
