STV currently has an opening for an experienced and detail-oriented Grant Strategist and Writer to join our growing Planning team on a part-time basis in our Austin, TX office.The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching, developing, and writing grant proposals to secure funding from government agencies, foundations, and other funding sources. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent writing skills and a proven track record of successful grant applications.Key Responsibilities:Grant Research and Identification:Conduct thorough research to identify potential funding opportunities that align with the organization's mission and goals.

Maintain a comprehensive database of grant prospects, deadlines, and requirements.

Grant Writing and Development:Write compelling, clear, and persuasive grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and other related documents.

Develop and articulate program goals, objectives, outcomes, and evaluation methods in grant applications.

Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary information and data to support grant proposals.

Strategic Planning:Work with the leadership team to develop and implement a comprehensive grant strategy.

Align grant-seeking efforts with the organization's strategic priorities and funding needs.

Proposal Review and Submission:Review and edit grant proposals to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with funding guidelines.

Manage the submission process, including the preparation of required documentation and adherence to deadlines.

Grant Management and Reporting:Assist in tracking and monitoring the status of submitted grant applications.

Prepare and submit grant reports to funders, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements and timelines.

Relationship Building:Establish and maintain relationships with grant-making organizations, foundations, and key stakeholders.

Represent the organization at meetings, workshops, and other events related to grant funding.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 12 years of experience in grant writing and strategy, with a proven record of securing funding.

Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

Strong research and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Proficiency in using grant databases and research tools.

Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising and program development.

Compensation Range:$146,755.00 - $195,674.00
