The opportunity

POSITION SUMMARY

Seeking an entry-level professional to coordinate various aspects of Anda’s tradeshows, events, and marketing services contract agreements, as well as The Anda Foundation’s annual charity function.

This position works closely with the Associate Director of Events and Meetings to manage and execute planning details for marketing events (e.g., trade shows, conventions, sales meetings) for internal and/or external clients. Areas of responsibility include coordinating exhibit and attendee registrations, coordinating booth services, facilitating legal review and approvals, and managing services with vendors, including catering and event support. Also assists with preparing budgets and invoices, as well as supporting the Anda Foundation annual charity event.

ESSENTIAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Assist in the implementation of strategies to build industry awareness of Anda and generate new customer leads

• Manage multivariate details in preparation of company-attended third party and self-produced events

• Assist in meeting multiple logistical deadlines for successful execution of various tradeshows and events

• Represent Anda professionally as the agent for needs to include contract negotiation, compliance and legal approvals, property sourcing and venue vetting, on-site staffing, and payment

• Consistently initiate progress and reporting communication with the Associate Director of Events and Meetings

• Assist to track and report results, making assessments and recommendations to optimize return

• Liaise with Anda’s and Teva’s corporate legal and compliance teams for guidance and approvals, ensuring responsibilities are executed in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and state, federal, and local laws

• Perform related marketing duties as assigned

Your experience and qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.

Education/Certification/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in sales & marketing or related field preferred

• Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years’ experience managing detailed, multivariate projects with defined deadlines, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Event, tradeshow, and/or convention management experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical / healthcare industry

• Experience with Charity events

• Experience with legal review and approvals processes

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

• Professional-level written and oral communication skills essential

• Highly organized planner with an extreme attention to detail

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

• Detailed project management skills with the proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

• Responsible mindset to track and communicate on status and results

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Up to 10% domestic travel throughout the US

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Occasional:

• Sitting for extended periods of time at workstation or mobile equipment

• Standing for extended periods of time at shows and events

• Some light lifting to support packaging of materials for tradeshow/event shipments, and for set up/dismantle of on-site events and shows

Visual Acuity:

• Perform activities such as computer work, preparing and analyzing data, and extensive reading
