Graphic Designer/Pre-Press Tech

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Our client is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their team! Are you creative, technically savvy, and looking to put your skills to work? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you to use your graphic design skills! Our client is looking for a PRE-PRESS TECHNICIAN/GRAPHIC DESIGNER. This is a full-time, temp to hire position in Eau Claire. This is a great company to be a part of, and you will be eligible for their excellent benefit package when hired on. Responsibilities Include: -Working closely with customer service and production teams, and business clients. -Creating and/or preparing digital files for production on digital and offset presses, large format printers and for outside vendors including promotional products. -Using design software especially Adobe Create Suite: Including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop -Working with Printers Plan and Plan Prophet -Taking concepts and ideas to create original designs that meet client approval. -Providing print ready layouts for production. -Maintaining organization of customer and company art files. -Running digital presses (copiers), and some finishing and bindery work (folding, cutting, collating etc) -Designing and preparing art files to support company mission and marketing activities. -And more! ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: -Education/Training in Graphic Design -Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, and familiarity with Microsoft Office programs Including Publisher, PowerPoint, and Word in a -Windows 10 environment -Able to produce print ready files according to internal standards. -An understanding of fonts, raster, and vector graphics. -Experience in commercial printing industry highly preferred. -Fast-paced and ever changing quick turn-around printing environment. -Demonstrate excellent organization and time management. -Willingness to learn about and operate digital presses (copiers). -Work efficiently and cooperatively to meet deadlines. -Ability to troubleshoot and resolve design issues for clients and coworkers. -Strong attention to detail, interest in preventing errors and solving problems. -Contribute to positive workplace culture and exhibit company core values: Courtesy, Communication, Integrity, Creativity, Consistency ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum: eauclaire@flexstaff.com Apply Online: www.flexstaff.com Fax a Rsum: 715-855-7885 Call For Appointment: 715-855-8155 E-Mail a Work Application: eauclaire@flexstaff.com This position is listed by a private employment agency.
