POSITION SUMMARY:The 3D artist is responsible for creating high quality and detailed 3D models and environments, working with our creative team on a variety of visual renderings, projects, and creating textured assets, and setup of camera, lighting and render settings for different digital visualizations and animations. They must be passionate about 3D modeling/texturing, have an artistic sense and have an interest in design and architectural visualization.FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION

Create 3D models with textures/materials of our HVAC, building and other products based on real-scale measurements and drawings.

Work with 3D programs such as Autodesk Maya and Unreal Engine, or equivalent.

Export and create 3D rendered images for customers and projects, working with the sales and creative team for direction.

Work in 3D motion design and animation, and integrating 3D models and animations into websites, and Adobe Creative Suite video editing programs.

Set up lighting for interior and exterior views of 3D models, buildings and components.

Set multiple cameras in scenes; adjust camera parameters to match render settings for flythroughs and animations.

Prepare 3D models for rendering at multiple angles.

Understand the principles and practices of photography (camera angles/lighting) and visual aesthetics and trends to relate them to renders.

Keep organized files and follow team protocols for file formats and direction.

Manage multiple tasks, priorities and workload to meet all schedules and deadlines

Willingness to jump in and help wherever it's needed, even if it's outside of comfort zone.

Follow and work with image direction and objectives provided, such as sketches or verbal direction.

Other duties assigned as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in architecture, graphic arts, or related field

Prior experience in 3D animation and modeling

Knowledge in 3D programs such as Autodesk Maya, Unreal Engine, Substance Painter, Autodesk 3ds Max, Revit, SolidEdge, or other comparable programs

Comfortability in the Adobe Creative suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro and After Effects.

2-3 years' experience as a 3D artist or related job

Portfolio reflecting 3D modeling, animation, and renderings

Excellent interpersonal, listening, organizational, and time management skills
