Job Description

The University of Missouri Athletic Department is seeking an Assistant Director of Graphic Design to contribute to the overall vision and goals of Mizzou Athletics by creating compelling, story-focused, and engaging content and narratives through multimedia. Duties will include but not limited to:Organize and manage multiple design projects in various stages of progressFormulate design concepts, presentations, templates, layouts, merchandise, signage, and other collateral from initial idea to final execution while meeting self-imposed and external deadlinesDesign promotional materials for both print and digital platforms for all athletics-related departments and teams as assigned using Adobe programsCreative Cloud (primarily but not limited to Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator)Formulate graphic concepts and templates that can be distributed and deployed by others' use within the departmentParticipate in content development and idea generation to help drive the brand of Mizzou AthleticsCollaborate with photographers, marketing, coaching staffs and other university departments to achieve goal of Mizzou Athletics graphics.

Shift

Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; Nights, Weekends, and Travel as required.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in related/relevant area or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in media production

Anticipated Hiring Range
