HOW YOU CAN CONTRIBUTEReporting to the Tobacco Education Clearinghouse of California (TECC) Program Manager, the Social Media & Digital Marketing Coordinator contributes to the development, execution, and regular evaluation of TECC's social media and digital marketing strategies. This position will create science-based, forward-thinking, inclusive content to promote statewide priorities in tobacco education, intervention, and treatment as identified by the California Tobacco Prevention Program (CTPP). Additionally, content that intersects with tobacco initiatives will also be prioritized based on need and social trends. The Social Media & Digital Marketing Coordinator will work to expand TECC's social media and digital marketing presence, engagement, and impact with priority populations.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFULBA/BS degree and/or equivalent experience in a related field.3 to 5 years of experience with social media and digital marketing coordination or management in a professional setting.1 to 3 years of experience with public health social media.Ability to utilize marketing social media and marketing scheduling platforms such as HubSpot.Ability to work with diverse groups of people in a collaborative setting.Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficient with all MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and the Internet.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with limited supervision.Ability to provide initiative and oversee a project with multiple tasks from conception to completion.Ability to balance the completion of assigned project tasks, both short and long-term, with the performance of routine duties.Ability to meet short deadlines.Ability to effectively work in a remote CA-based setting.The use of a personal vehicle or rental car for ETR business will require a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.

CaliforniaStarting Pay Range : $70,900-$86,600 annually. The typical hiring range for this position is

$70,900-78,800

at 100% FTE.
