Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?The Graphic Designer role provides creative design and production support for the RBC Global Asset Management team. This includes ongoing updates of marketing collateral, social media and email assets, video editing, web page assets, infographics, PowerPoint presentations and other requirements. In this role you will ensure that all materials follow RBC's established brand standards and meet compliance requirements. You will also keep updated on current design trends, tools and technology in the space.What will you do?Deliver a range of marketing materials on time and within brand standards to support the business needs of RBC GAMPartner with marketing managers and other stakeholders on a variety of projects from ideation through to delivery of final productFormat investment team presentation decks, fact sheets, infographics, campaign emails and other marketing collateral as neededSupport the team's video editing, animation, web and motion graphics requirementsKeep up with understanding our website framework and work on campaign web page designDesign event assets such as booths, banners and signageBuild relationships and work collaboratively with internal partners at all stages of the production processFollow established studio processes, including tracking their projects and tasks through Wrike, our workflow toolEnsure all project assets are properly documented and stored in dockets in Wrike and on our designated design serverEnsure design files are properly prepared for print production or online postingWhat do you need to succeed?Must-haveGraphic Design University Undergraduate Degree or College Diploma3+ years of design experience working in an in-house studioKnowledge of B2B marketing specifically within financial servicesExceptional production skills with a solid understanding of design principlesAdvanced understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, AfterEffects and Premiere Pro) and Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint)Understanding of UX design and HTML5Nice-to-haveUnderstanding of document accessibility requirements and creating accessible documents in Adobe InDesignSome experience working in an in-house studio setting, preferably in financial services and within an institutional marketing teamDemonstrated knowledge of common marketing processesWhat's in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
