Freelance Clothing DesignerAmanda Uprichard is a NYC based Contemporary women's clothing brand. We are sold nationally and are also on ecommerce sites such as Revolve, Shopbop, Saks and Nordstroms. We are looking for a Designer to help us expand our product categories. This is a very tech pack focused position. We are located in the NYC Garment Center.Qualifications-4-5 years experience in women's woven garments, specifically silk, and including knits.-Strong fashion sense, and understanding of the contemporary market-Must be highly skilled at creating detailed and accurate overseas tech packs.-Strong flat sketching ability.-Understanding of construction, materials, fit, and how they work together.-Clear communicator.-Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-up.-Working knowledge of excel, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft office.-Must be able to follow the entire product cycle from ideation, design, techpack first sample and SMS sample.-Must be able to communicate with overseas factories.-Must be able to thrive in a fast paced environment.Please send your resume and examples of your work to:larry@Compensation - $85,000.00-$100,000.00
