Acara Solutions is looking for a Communications Manager to work with our partner out in the Boston, NYC or Philly Area who specializes in manufacturingHere is what you will get: Salary: $100,000/yrHere is what you will do:
Key accountabilities:
Drive awareness and manage our reputation in your region.
Communications strategy
Deploy and implement the US communication plan, messaging platforms and project action plansTailors communication plan and messages for your geographic area in line with US and Americas messaging and communication planCustomer relations
Organizes site visits inside your geographic regionIdentifies and managers regional exhibitions and conference participationMedia relations
Manage local media relations (relationship and primary contact to local journalists, preparation of press releases, local press events, media briefing, Q&A...) and local crisis communications in coordination with global media relations teamSocial Media
Create social media content for your region in keeping with the US comms plan and key messagingSuggest relevant accounts to follow and engage withMonitor social media in your region as part of reputation management and engagementBrand
Ensure our brand and visual identity rules are appliedProduce local content for print and online tools (messages, figures, Country/cluster and sites PPT presentations)All employees communication
Manage internal communication to all employees in the cluster/country using Communications standard tools and digital platformsCascade Company informationEscalate project milestones and overall social climate (bottom-up)Managerial communication
Manage local events that feature senior Americas and global leadership in your region - including event organization, talking points and briefing doc prep and audience build for internal and external events in region.Provide advice and managerial guidelines to Americas Management Committee members.Operations
Manage your budget, follow-up & reporting in coordination with Finance and Communications Performance
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum of a bachelors degree in communications, marketing or business studiesMinimum 5 years of experience in Media relationsMinimum 3 years of management
